Mycopharma® mushroom extracts
are extremely safe. The safety of each Mycopharma®
extract has been verified with LD-50 tests.
LD-50 tests are widely
used to measure the relative toxicity of a material.
The average LD-50
of Mycopharma® mushroom extracts is 2,000mg/kg,
which is much higher (and therefore much less
toxic) than the toxicity of antibiotics
and much less than many other natural immunostimulants.
Although LD-50 tests are not required in the U.S.
for food supplements, these independently verified
test results are useful to demonstrate that Mycopharma®
extracts can be safely incorporated into any nutritional
or therapeutic product or dietary plan for the
purpose of health management.
