The molecular structure of Reishi triterpenoids
incorporates highly oxidised lanostane-type triterpenoids
called triterpenes.
At least 100 different alcohol-soluble triterpenes
have been identified from fruiting bodies and mycelia
of Reishi, including
Ganoderic acid A (R1=O R2=beta-OH R3=H R4=alpha-OH
R5=H), Ganoderic acid B (R1=R2=beta-OH R3=R5=H R4=O)
and Ganoderic acid C (R1=O R2=beta-OH R3=R5=H R4=O). |
